Well as you all know about officer Cassidy's death, his death has been treated more, how you say, on a serious level than other officers that have been killed. The other day his body was being transported to a funeral home right by my home here in Northeast Philadelphia. The police made an entrance, an intimidating entrance. About 15 cop cars flew down the street one after another at very high speed dangering not only themselves but the people around. I have a few pictures that you can see below of the amount of cop cars that were there. A police helicopter hovered and flew, with no exaggeration, about 3 yards from the power lines here on my street making the loudest and most disruptive noise. I looked out the window I saw people running. I had no idea what was going on. So i ran with my camera to see and they were just making their entrance to the funeral home. I don't think that all of this was necessary and that my tax dollars are being spent on intimidation tactics.
I know the police have a very dangerous job, and I respect them for helping make my communities safer. But aggressive policing is getting out of control. Around my neighborhood im seeing the new dodge charger cop cars driving around here in the residential areas at night and if you ask me, it's all for intimidation. Its obvious now that we live in a police state, anyone can tell you that. But the government is getting out of control. From bullying officers to unconstitutional searches and seizures and illegal DUI checkpoints, it seems America is looking like nazi germany more and more. Any opinions; thoughts? http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c56/dxsrich/Picture003.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c56/dxsrich/Picture002.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c56/dxsrich/Picture001.jpg |
