Hey folks,

I just found this message board through a search. Always good to know there are other Philly-based resources. I have been on Philly Blog for years and that seems to be the most popular online meeting place for Philly peeps. But I'm always looking for quieter places to meet people and have discussions. Sometimes it gets too loud over there. :)

Anyways, I've just moved back to Philadelphia after 2.5 years away. I was living and working in the North Jersey Shore area. Eh, it was OK, but I honestly missed living in an urban environment. So I'm back, happily, and living in West Philly until at least next March. I think I might stay here, too. Depends on a few things, like where I find permanent work, etc. I also like South Philly and would totally consider living there, too.

Anyways, just wanted to give a shout out to my fellow West Philly peeps. I'm loving it so far. Lots of cool things, like the Clark Park Farmer's Market, The Satellite Coffeeshop, Vietnam Cafe, etc. Such a vibrant, diverse community here. I'm looking forward to getting more involved for sure.
